3-Dropper Premium Rigs: Built for Serious Anglers, Refined Through Experience
After years of using premade rigs and finding none that truly tick all the boxes, we decided to create our own—rigs designed by fishermen, for fishermen. Now on Version 4, these 3-Dropper Premium Rigs have been continually improved through user feedback and our own on-water experience.
Unmatched Strength and Construction
- Crimped, Not Knotted: Knots are often the weak point in rigs, so we've opted for triple-alternative-crimped aluminium crimps using a precision machine, eliminating human error and ensuring 25kg DEAD WEIGHT testing (capable of pulling fish much heavier than 25kg).
- Attention to Detail: Crimps are left with a small tag end and not crimped to the edge to prevent line weakening.
Premium Components for Reliability
- Dhubite DOOM Swivels: Unlike standard crane or 3-way swivels, our exclusive ball-bearing swivels feature multiple welded rings, removing leverage points that cause failure. These swivels maintain twist under heavy loads and are available separately (search "swivels").
- Sinker Breakaway Line: A 60lb sinker loop line prevents complete rig loss during snags, while the rest of the rig uses 110lb mono for an ideal balance of strength and manageability.
Thoughtful Design for All Fishing Conditions
- Top Dropper: Bare 8/0 Circle hook (20cm dropper) for flighty fish like smaller snapper/emperor or larger species in a cautious mood
- Middle Dropper: Bare 10/0 Circle hook (50cm dropper).
- Bottom Dropper: Two 10/0 Circle snelled hooks (60cm dropper) under a squid skirt, ideal for presenting larger baits. This dropper does the most damage due to the presentation and hook-up ratio. The skirt allows hook ups even when your bait is gone, just give it a slight jigging motion.
